Lancia Delta Integrale EVO 1
With only 10,700 km on the counter, this homologation Lancia Delta Integrale EVO 1 is something special. At the end of 1991, this model was introduced by Lancia as a homologation car to participate in the Group A World Rally Championship. It being a homologation model, the first 500 copies were equipped with a water spray unit to provide extra cooling to the intercooler. This car left the factory on 9 December 1991 and first hit the road in Italy on 3 January 1992. In August 1993, the then owner decided to no longer use the car and removed it from traffic. As far as we have been able to ascertain, the Delta then changed ownership twice, with both owners collectors who did not register the car, which explains the extremely low mileage. In 2019, the last owner decided, because the car had not been used for so long, to have a technical check performed on the Delta and have the car given an extensive service. The costs of these works amounted to more than € 9,500. Corresponding invoices are, of course, available. The condition of this Delta is what you may expect of a car with this mileage, and with minimal traces of use and an interior which is as good as new.
